Illustrations created for the children’s book “To Rain or Not to Rain… What Should Happen”, published by Ciência, Leitura e Afeto.

For this project, I explored a soft and playful visual language, aiming to bring warmth, emotion, and a sense of wonder to the story. Through expressive characters, vibrant colors,

and nature-inspired scenes, the illustrations were designed to create an engaging and affectionate reading experience for children.

Book Synopsis

The clouds of the Nubilus family experience real-life situations. However, when someone wants to be the best in the group, wants to receive more gifts, or disregards the feelings of

others, the rains on Earth end up getting out of control! Fortunately, with tenderness, science, and lots of dialogue, everyone understands their emotions better and works in a task

force to make it rain where the planet needs it, ensuring the life of plants, people, and animals.
