Hands on the wild animals
I had the pleasure of illustrating an amazing interactive book for Bear Tale Publishing in China, which takes children on a journey through the wild animals, such as lions, jaguars, monkeys, elephants, giraffes, and koalas. The illustrations were designed to be not only visual but also tactile, offering a unique sensory experience for children.
The standout feature of this book is the tactile elements. Each animal has a specific part made of fabric, mimicking the texture of their skin, like the softness of a lion’s mane or the smoothness of a koala’s fur. This tactile interaction makes the learning process more engaging, allowing children to touch and feel the textures as they explore the world of these fascinating animals.
In addition, the book is interactive, with flaps and mechanisms that allow readers to discover more about the animals while learning about their habits and characteristics. It was a wonderful experience to create this project, combining illustration, textures, and interactivity to stimulate curiosity and learning in young readers.
